Join a Creative, Skilled Team at the Forefront of Holistic Building!

As our Miller & Timber Manager, you will be responsible for the full life cycle of our timber processing—from receiving raw logs and operating sawmilling equipment to grading, drying, and inventory control. You will balance hands-on technical milling with high-level yard management to ensure maximum yield, quality, and workplace safety.

This position will be supported by ECO Canada wage funding programs (youth in natural resources or newcomers career in residential construction).

Requirements

  • experience in sawmilling, timber yard operations, or forestry management

  • proficient with portable or stationary sawmills and heavy equipment

  • Strong understanding of wood species, moisture management, timber grading, and log scaling

  • Attention to detail

  • must be eligible for eco canada wage funding
