As a technologist, carpenter, draftsman, and project manager I have an appreciation for all aspects of the building process. I studied Engineering Design and Drafting Technology in Lethbridge, then spent years working in a Winnipeg Architecture firm, with a focus on multi-family residential. I decided to pursue carpentry to learn how to build what I was drafting, hands on. I honed my trade working with a passive house builder in Manitoba, and a custom residential timber framing company in BC. I have been fortunate to learn from many skilled professionals along the way. I am passionate about building sciences, energy efficiency, joinery, sourcing local, and restoring character. I value my ability to relay technical information through drawings, and help bring design concepts to life.
