Concept lab- by fast + epp

Building on Fast + Epp’s tradition of forward-thinking design, the Concept Lab serves as a hub for research and experimentation in structural engineering. It exists to explore fresh approaches to construction and to spark new architectural possibilities.

Housed within Fast + Epp’s Vancouver headquarters, the lab welcomes collaboration with designers, academics, industry partners, and innovators who want to push the boundaries of what’s possible. The space offers in-house teams access to collaborative work areas, a fabrication shop for models and prototypes, a 100,000-pound testing frame for structural experiments, and digital studios for developing software, visualization tools, and design applications.
